With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality trade, we know and understand how important food is, how difficult it can be to organise and menu plan for larger numbers, and also the importance of ease and flexibility,
after all this is your holiday.
That is why, here at La Folie, we decided to ease the pressure by offering a range of catering options to suit you and your party's needs, to help make your holiday that little bit more relaxing.
Perhaps a birthday or other special occasion, a final night celebratory meal, or maybe just to take the pressure off deciding what to cook- whatever the reason, we have a variety of flexible options to suit.
We use homegrown or local produce on our menus, and support local suppliers wherever possible.
We spend the summer months growing and producing many items such as pickles, chutneys and jams ourselves, as well as the odd traditional ham or local liquers!
Not only is Ro a great cook, but as an ex nurse she also understands the importance of specific dietry requirements, so you can rest assured your needs will be well catered for.
The Catering options are by pre arrangement at the time of booking, and available on any week,
Sample Menus are available on request.
On catered weeks, the chalet can be booked by the room or exclusively as the whole chalet.
Of course you can book completely self catering, but with these options, why would you?!
Fully catered means you won't have to lift a culinary finger!
We will do everything for you, as well as shopping, preparing and cooking, we will also lay up the table and clear away when you are done.
Thats right, no washing up!
Delicious breakfasts, including a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, cereals, pastries and fresh bread, cheese and cold meat, plus a daily hot special.
Fabulous afternoon tea, with fresh home made cakes baked daily, bread jams and preserves, all laid up for you to help yourself to when you get home.
In the evening,
a delicious 5 course evening meal, including canapes, starter, main course, dessert and cheese board with port, followed by coffee and petite fours, all taken care of, we will even provide house wine with dinner and clean up afterwards.
As part of the fully catered option, the rooms and public areas will also be serviced daily. We also offer morning and evening transfers to and from the lifts.
We can add full catering to any week at a discounted price, provided the chalet is rented on an exclusive sole occupancy basis. Please contact us for a price.
Semi Catered is an option whereby we prepare a two course meal - main course and dessert - for you, and deliver the meal, complete with instructions, ready for you to simply put in the oven or warm on the hob at your leisure and enjoy!
Prices for a chef prepared, oven ready, 2 course meal is set at 17.50 euros per person.
For each additional person over 8 people, the cost is 15 euros person.
2 children under 12 years old
= 1 adult.
In addition, Starters are available at 5.95€ per person and choice of 2 canapes at 4.50€ per person.
We can also offer the services of a chef and host to prepare and serve you, and clean up after the meal at additional cost, please ask for pricing.
For group bookings of 8 or more, we can offer a daily breakfast service for 7.50 euros per person.
We will set up, prepare, serve and clear breakfast including a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, cereals, pastries and fresh bread, a choice of homemade jams and preserves, cold meat and cheese, plus a daily hot special.
We regret that we can only offer this service on weeks where the chalet is exclusively sold, and with a minimum of 8 people, and cannot offer it on an individual room by room basis.
This option does not include the servicing of rooms or public areas
